BreathBreak is a Chrome extension that helps you take breathing breaks while browsing social media. This policy explains what data the extension collects and how it is used.
BreathBreak stores the following data locally on your device only, using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API:
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, and we have no access to it.
storage — used solely to save your session stats locally on your device so the popup dashboard can display them.
The extension runs content scripts on Twitter/X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, and Reddit. These scripts only manage the session timer and inject the breathing overlay — they do not read or transmit any page content.
All data is stored locally and can be deleted at any time by removing the extension from Chrome, or by clearing the extension's storage via chrome://extensions.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
